It'll take 10 minutes or more to locate where it is in the world after a total reset.
You'll also need to tell it where "Home" is again as the reset will have wiped that. Plus all your other waypoints that you've loaded.

It'll help if you let it know which continent it's in. This will mean it'll look for the right satellites acording to the almanac. Which helps it find where it is a bit quicker.
