The HP2's looked awsome....but Mr Tickle on the Adv had to be seen to be believed
.....i kid you NOT.... i would not have believed you could get an Adventure where he took it....
....i had to get off my DRZ a couple of times and walk it through.....

Got my PC sort of running again (had to disable Windows Automatic Updates in the end, as wuauclt.exe took up 99% of the processes Hope it won't do any harm...)
So here is more photographic evidence of a really great off-roading day:

First stop (it was slightly hot that day...) - left to right: Jarv, Blue Sweeper, Karlz, mrTickle

Due to technically challenging bits (at least for me...
) and torrential downpours no more pics until lunch at 'The Barley Mow' at Tilford Green. Blue Sweeper and Karlz savouring their well-deserved meals
Portions were reasonably sized but still a bit pricy for my taste (£7.95 for a Ploughmans...). Still, spirits were high - mrTickle, Blue Sweeper and Karlz

Some English culture by the roadside - Morris Dancers at Leith Hill

Guys, it was a cracking day out again! Thanks to Simon for organising the run and to Roy for taking over after lunch - and above all for waiving his own fun and taking me the long way round when I chickened out on the scary bits...
Thanks to everybody else for making it such an enjoyable experience - looking forward to the next meeting!
