....thanks guys...great day out :bounce1 ....

The HP2's looked awsome....but Mr Tickle on the Adv had to be seen to be believed

.....i kid you NOT.... i would not have believed you could get an Adventure where he took it....

....i had to get off my DRZ a couple of times and walk it through..... :bow

Guys (and Gal), had a great day even though I had to leave early and hand over to Roy.

Hope to do it again soon.

Simon

Anyone up for another go round?

I'm gonna run this route again on either Saturday 19th or Saturday 26th August if anyone is interested?

I'll put up a new post on the subject.....

Some more pics...

Got my PC sort of running again (had to disable Windows Automatic Updates in the end, as wuauclt.exe took up 99% of the processes  Hope it won't do any harm...)

So here is more photographic evidence of a really great off-roading day:

Jarv at Newland's Corner - can't wait to get going

Clive looking a bit sad already (he was only allowed out for an hour... :( )

First stop (it was slightly hot that day...) - left to right: Jarv, Blue Sweeper, Karlz, mrTickle

Jarv, thoroughly enjoying himself
83959966-M.jpg

mrTickle and Karlz - can we carry on now?
83959967-M.jpg

Due to technically challenging bits (at least for me... :mmmm ) and torrential downpours no more pics until lunch at 'The Barley Mow' at Tilford Green. Blue Sweeper and Karlz savouring their well-deserved meals

Portions were reasonably sized but still a bit pricy for my taste (£7.95 for a Ploughmans...). Still, spirits were high - mrTickle, Blue Sweeper and Karlz

In the woods again: Blue Sweeper, mrTickle & Karlz

Some English culture by the roadside - Morris Dancers at Leith Hill

Quote Karlz: "This reminds me of a certain Bavarian dance" (Schuhplattler he means). "But if they were Germans they would hit each other properly...". Thanks for that, Karl...

mrTickle contemplating if he should join in...
83959976-M.jpg

And now some action photos - Blue Sweeper coming down the hill
83959977-M.jpg

Bugger, why does the flash take so long to recharge? Here comes mrTickle - oops, gone - but now Karlz...
83959978-M.jpg

Nevermind, worth a try... Could you please keep still for another minute? mrTickle & Karlz

Back at Newland's Corner - Blue Sweeper demonstrating the tightest turn radius possible on the HP2

mrTickle: "I'm sure there's room for improvement..."

Guys, it was a cracking day out again! Thanks to Simon for organising the run and to Roy for taking over after lunch - and above all for waiving his own fun and taking me the long way round when I chickened out on the scary bits... :mmmm

Thanks to everybody else for making it such an enjoyable experience - looking forward to the next meeting!

Cheers,

Ela

Yep, we went out on Saturday 22nd July 2006, so you're a bit late in putting it in the diary.

Never mind Phil, next time eh? :mmmm

However if you fancy it, take a look HERE 'cos we have another go on the 19th THIS MONTH.
