Big Test Today

Right this is it, I should be back on the road the savo. My father has kindly offered me his Suzuki SV650, to run around on, while mine remains in the workshop. So barring any severe pain I should be back on 2 wheels, exactly 4 weeks to the day of the accident.
Was at hospital last week and they are pleased with the progress so far. No further operation required at present on the all important digit. Still can't hold my guitar properly tho' . but all things said, I'm headin in the right direction.

With your permission I'll post a few pics later of my first trip out

Well back safely

Well I'm back, no dramas, picked the bike up about an hour ago. Have to say, it's rather tiny, and not for me. Although the little'n has a fantastic engine, it really takes off above 6000rpm. Probably would be very quick with someone half my weight on it. A punchy little individual, but I doubt I'll be going too far on it.
So that's it then, demons exorcised, and I'm back on the road. Now I just have to wait for the beemer, but I'll not hold my breath .

Good on ya! My wifes got one of those SV's in the garage. Have to say I absolutely love it. The engine is indeed a cracker. Know what you mean mind I weigh 12.5 stone and feel a bit of a porker on it. Could do with firmer suspension.

I thought I'd hidden that pic from the wife, twas from my days in the darkside, I wondered what she was up hokin in the attic for the other day..

Aiden, cheers no idea, will just have to sit it out. I'm hopin it'll be waitin on me when I get back from Canada, at the end of July. I really do want to make Achill....
