THE HORN ON THE ADVENTURE MAKES THE SAME SOUND AS A PIAGGIO 50cc.THIS IS NOT COOL. IF OTHERS ARE UNAWARE OF THE PANZER-LIKE GS ADVENTURE BEARING DOWN ON THEM, THEN I FEEL ONE NEEDS A BLOODY DECENT HORN, JUST TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF YOUR PRESENCE. I AM THINKING SOMETHING CAR-LIKE OR EVEN AIR-HORN/TRUCK LIKE. I AM NOT BEING AGGRESSIVE , JUST POLITELY ASSERTIVE. DOES ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS. MANY THANKS LADS

Stebel Nautilus is THE way to go!;)

Consider going to Halfords and buying a pair of Fiamms...

I've had mine since the bike was new (02) and they've done the job very well, without costing a fortune (or filling up with water :P)...

Mike:)

What happened to the chap who was selling horn kits, using Bosch horns I think. I've got some, and they are well loud.

I tried it several times. Nice website but no response at all to several requests to buy the kit.

Gave up and went the Nautilus route. Cheaper too!

I just fitted a Fiamms horn to my GS and it's fantastic. Two would be good but I'll just go for the one first. Cost less than a tenner from South London Motorcycles in Caterham.

Took off the original horn, bolted the new horn in the same place and attached the live to the horn. That's it, the earth is from the mounting bolt so you just need to cable tie the spare negative up out of the way so it doesn't get wet or dirty.

Cheers

Jon.
