Following the awful accident at Arreton where a motorcyclist was killed in a road accident, Isle of Wight bikers are getting together to take part in a ride out which is designed to raise islanders awareness of motorcyclists.
The rideout starts at 12noon at blackgang upper car park and will finish at godshill at about 1.15pm where we have the pub car park.
The more bikes the better at this event as the Island is a beautiful place to ride but other road users seem to be sadly lacking in understanding bikes.
Besides, any excuse for a trip out, right?
