Hi lads bike is going back again for the 5th time engine tapping noise as gone louder and pulsation is coming more at low speed 30 mph to 40 mph in 3rd and 4th gear bike only done 26.500 miles sorry it’s a 2015 r1200 gsa as enemy one had the same problem

Pulsing is a fairly common 'fault' to occour, some do it some don't. My first GS got bad enough for me to trade it in. My '17 bike has 29k and the thrumming is barely noticeable.

I just part ex’d my 2015 GSA today 19500 miles. Engine was great but I used to suffer with the pulsing. I think it’s linked to the preload settings. If it was set to hard/high it would do it quite noticeably. Bizarrely the 2018 I picked up today definitely has a noisier engine than my old one?!
