.... update the unit whilst on the move?

according to the Datatool website you can add sites whilst on the move by pressing the "insert" button so that when its connected to the manager software on the 'puter that info can be added to your own units database.

Sooooo! does the main unit on the bike have to be mounted where a button can be pressed or does it all hide away and just have the LED on a stick on view as I suspect?

you cant do it!
remember ehere you are, ie side roads etc,
when you get home look it up on multimap site,
then go onto the inforad manager and upload the info to them ie long/lat etc
