Hi All

Any suggestions on whom to go with to insure my 2012 GSA with? we are off in 10 days for a 9 day tour of Morroco

Sadly, BMW's in house insurance company a) don't want to know about Morroco and b) can't suggest any alternatives.......bloody hopeless!!

You can buy insurance (for what it's worth ) at the border, depending on the port of entry. Last time we bought some it was about the equivalent of 30 Euro for 20 days. If not, the guys at the border will tell you where you can find an insurance office in the next town you get to.

Last time I went through Ceuta, the office had closed and we had to get insurance at Fnideq. If you go in via Tanger Med port there is one there. Can't say if there's one at Tangier though, never entered through it.

Can't understand why BMW insurance won't give you a green card though, as I've always been able to get one from them.

When I asked, the beemer lot said they will insure you but only on an organised official BMW trip which is a bit cack.

I think ringing Carole Nash might work?
