Bike let me down this morning

Just had my 2021 GS starting fine after 16 days parked (I was away working). That's the longest period without riding the bike. It's from January this year, 4000 miles.
I have EzCan installed, my phone, GPS and helmet comms paired.
I have never had any battery problem and the bike hasn't ever been connected to any kind of charger.

Neither had I until yesterday…

(Had paired tft & helmet, and tft & phone, but it’s such a bollox that I just pair the helmet to the nav, & phone, and ignore the tft. Not fitted any fart les apart from a garage door opener plugged into the socket, no extra lights, ezcan, etc. Neither had I used a charger on it., and at less than 13 months old, in a wet but mild season, do I think it should be necessary on a premium machine that is ridden almost every day)
