As a bit of a hoarder, about to buy a 1150, I've been revisiting some of my old "Bike " magazines, with reviews of 1150 and 1200 GS against various others (inc ST1300!!!).

Can I post these here, or a link, or can I send a copy to a fellow GSer for personal purposes only, without contravening copyright etc...?

I have BiKE from 1990 to mid-2004, and RiDE from issue 1 (Oct 95, IIRC) to mid-2004, with a few issues of each missed here & there.

Very useful & entertaining to trawl back through them. I've nearly memorised everything they wrote on the 1100GS & 1150GS.

Would love to find a copy of the RiDE issue where Kev Raymond (I think) stripped down a 100,000-mile 1100GS.

Probably not a good idea to share copyright stuff (like magazine articles) on a public forum, even when intentions are clearly altruistic.

Hah! FWIW, I got in touch with RiDE - it was an RS, not a GS. They don't have back-issues that far back, but the very helpful Caroline scanned & emailed me the articles (run over two issues). Fair play to them. :beerjug:

Very interesting reading. :thumb2

Yeh, memory ain't where I left it yesterday, what's that over there? Porridge you say, mmm?:rob

I have loads of 90s and 00s Bike mostly, 1150 and 1200 GS and GSA- always good to have a rake through of an evening...

Any chance of a pdf / doc for a read? I'm especially interested in any 1150 technical articles... and the high mileage strip down appeals...
Many thanks!

Matt
