I used “The Bike Bus” based out of Turriff, they shipped my bikes from Aberdeen to Oswestry with no issues...

Thank you for all the replies folks but after agreeing a price for the bike and me arranging time off work to go up and do the deal he texts me this morning saying he's accepted an offer of £150 more for the bike!

Damn what a tosser especially after all the arrangements you made.Thats one of the problems with long distance second hand purchases, fortunately the recent buy I did on eBay for a dr650 worked out. Paying out a lump sum and then waiting to see if it gets collected by the van company is also risky.
