Sorry to hear of the theft and glad it was recovered.
Sorrier and utterly cringeworthy to read about the estimations and expectations of where it might be found though.
I can assure you all that the streets of Niddrie or Craigmillar or anywhere else i recall in Scotland's fine Capital are not strewn with broken bottles or used syringes, and that the majority of folks who reside in such places do their best. There is a real world out there guys. Go seek and ye shall find.

Not quite fair I think. There's a reality check here: a lot of bikes are nicked and end up in these areas of the capital. Your point about the honesty of the majority of folk who live in Niddrie etc is well made and was echoed by me in an earlier post. Unfortunately, these folk are the first victims of the criminals among them.
