1flew by ryanair to skanska stockholm.. then train to gothenburg.. nice few bevvies and a meal on the high speed train.. walk out of the station in the very lovely Radisson hotel... the depot is behind the station..
Got a text at 8:15am, the monday morning to state bikes ready for collection... wonderful stuff!!
this was the route.. more or less.. nothing set in stone.. if we saw anything interesting we would divert..
first fuel stop on the way south.. Petrol is more or less the same as here.. free wifi at most stations..
headed to Helsingborg for the ferry over to zealand.. and the trip to copenhagen..
Absalon camping was rated as one of the best, so out we went..

and got booked in.. you need a camping card to use campsites over there, so paid for that... got some great info about getting in and out of there, the trains run all night... so off we went.... got good recommendations.. best stuff is in and around Tivoli... went to rosie mcgee's...

lovely food.. probably the most reasonable prices we saw.. the place over the road was looking for 65 euro for a steak.... eh .. no thank you
then down to a few pubs for a pint.. at 7.70 a pint.. didnt stay long..
so heading west.. there was one town I wanted to visit.. only because I wanted to have a laugh
Riding west again to the danish island of Romo... looked nice on the map.. there is a ferry at the bottom of the island which brings you to the german island of Sylt.. a really lovely place.. it is described as the german version of Monaco or the American "hamptons"
after a nice spin around we said we would leave... and slowly discovered there are no roads out to the island.... this picture sorta sums up our search.. taken at the very south of the island
stopped a nice chap and asked how did the cars get out, and he directed us to westerland Bahnof station where you put your bus/car/bike/space shuttle on the train... train takes 40 mins
headed south to mainland Germany.. crossed the Rhine on a small ferry to save a lot of roadwork at Gluckstadt... will save you about 70 miles
after a long day, we crossed into Holland via the major land bridge the Afsluitdijk ..headed to Amsterdam found a very nice campsite.. called Camping Zeeburg..
http://www.campingzeeburg.nl/
and managed to wedge the GSA's into the space between all the stoned teenagers.... but the campsite is lovely.. quiet... and has a great bar and restaurant..
up at 6:30 am the next morning.. heading south.. but stopping off in Rosendaal to do some indoor skydiving

great crack.. loved it... it is an amazing feeling, there is one in Manchester.. I will be popping over too..
if you skip to the 2 min mark of the video, you will see the instructor showing you how it can be done !!
After that.. we headed to the UK and rode from there to birmingham via the chunnel....
never been on.. fairly effortless crossing.. although the temp dropped from 34c to 14c..... froze the hole off me
that was the trip... got loads done in the short time I had... but well worth it...
