Awroight am yer ? (Apologies, but had to be done :P ) :thumb2

Hope this is in the right place.

Any suggestions for motybike parking for the NEC one evening next week. Me and a mate off to a gig - car park last time was f expensive and took forever to get out. Cunning plan - take the bikes, hopefully park for free (naive?) and get in and out easier. Anyone know where this can be done ideally gratis and with something to chain the bikes to ?

God loves an optimist, I'm told. :eek

You could try going into the Metropole hotel and ordering a pack of peanuts from the bar....

Don't be too down hearted. The adverts online for the Motorcycle Show at the NEC late November early December definitely say £8 for cars and free for bikes. Not sure if that is the case all the time, though. You could check them out by 'phone.

Chuckle. :clap I'm only a visitor here, but I know what you mean. Stokies also travel on buzzes and sit eggzams (emphasis on the egg) :D

And, I think you'll find [adopts patronising smart ar5e tone] you meant elocution :P  :mmmm :D

The parking for bikes is normally free inside a big feck off tent outside the main entrance . Your bike will be undercover and guarded :thumb2

Seriously ? For non bike show events ? Sounds too (a) good to be true and (b) straightforward.

[There's no pleasing some folk, is there? ]

I was there last Saturday (mobile home show) did'nt see any big tents but spoke to security and they were happy to let us park (free) on the pavement pretty close to the main entrance.:thumb

Bags of energy for 2 hours 40 minutes  but would have been 40 minutes shorter without all the poncing about (oops - lost me accent there). Some grand choons here and there, though.

Sounded like a great time...glad you had fun

One thing, did they stamp your passport when you entered the balti belt?
