Can anyone recommend a bike rental company in Southern Spain?

I've got some friends in the US who want to fly over in February / March time, pick up some rentals and ride round Southern Spain and maybe Morocco if possible.

They want GS/GSA size as they don't do any off road.

Toro Adventure might be able to help too, as well as with some self guided routes. They run GS.

Try Graham Swan he runs GS Motorcycle Tours and will rent bikes out or take you on guided tours around Spain and into Morocco. Great tours and a brilliant chap to deal with and based near Malaga and will even collect you from the airport. Mention my recommendation. www.gsmotorcycletours.com

I was thinking of doing this next year, but after seeing the price of rentals decided its cheaper to ride there from home.
The obvious issue is the extra days off work needed for the ride out and back again, which impacts the length of time in Spain.

if you book early enough, the ferry from Plymouth takes about 21 hours (1545 departure, arrive 1300 Santander) and is not expensive in my view. I booked a trip out on May 21st 2025, back on June 4th 2025 for £437, return including a cabin each way. A ferry to Caen and a road trip across France with a couple of nights in a hotel each way will cost more and use up more days.

Agreed that it may be a lower cost to ride out but if you’re limited on time and want a guided tour without the worry then flying could be for you.

I rented a 1200gs about five years ago- great experience. They’d have new bikes. Norm and Lee are some craic: https://motohirespain.com/
Outside Malaga in the mountains, Teba is the base: I stayed in the apartments and did loops from the base on preset routes. I was alone so that worked well - Norm came out on one of the days. If I was with a group, we’d have done a longer loop using hotels..

Just saw this thread. I live in Malaga. There are plenty options for rental here, i can advise privately on routes the locals use etc but obviously it's not ideal to post them on a public forum. Police use drones to catch bikes but knowing when to go out and play is the key.

For rental. All 3 BMW Motorrad dealer rent bikes. All as the same owner- Safa Motors.
IMT are great and only use BMW. I used them previously, all bikes are fresh too.

I think the English guy at Toro up near Alhaurin has started doing rentals too.

There are many others too if you dont want BMW.
But for sure take some space in a case and visit Moto Garrido in Alhaurin de la Torre. 3 floors of bike kit and good prices.
