Looking for some help as I don't know much about this stuff. My son has just purchased his first bike and wants a bike to bike system similar to mine. I'm set up with an Autocom Active Smart 7 and Wintec a80 radio which works great so had planned to set him up with the same. Looks like Intaride are our of stock with these radios so I'm looking either for where I can source the same radio (set up for UK PMR frequencies) or another radio which can be bike powered and of similar standard.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help in advance

Have a look on Ebay for Kenwood tk3201 good prices. I have some small Cobra units, which work fine with Autocom. I also use Icom, but I have to be careful with radio channel matching. I can pm you withthe frquencies,

If you are looking for a Kenwood tk 3201, let me know. 'Nailler' from this site has one for sale (just has not posted in for sale section yet) and he is also selling it with the battery eliminator for the autocom.
If you want you can PM him for a price.:thumb2

Thanks for your help folks. As regards the Autocom he wants it for pillion comms so linking the radio gives the bike to bike as well. I'll check out the radios but I'm still tempted by the Wintec. Me and me mates all have Wintecs and I know they work great. Fits on the bike easily cos its so small.

Thanks again for the help - much appreciated.
