Just investing in autocom kits. Autocom sell the motorola PMR, but I'm sure there are better. Somewhere, I recall reading that some US spec radio's can be bought on US ebay and have a better range.

Anyone got any recommendation bike to bike of decent spec with a decent range?

thanks

I think the yanks use the FRS system, and Im not sure if that is allowed over here - or if there will be anybody to talk to!

Intaride sell the A80 radio which can be soft modded to give you 4MW of power; but the real way to increase the range is to mount the antenna so that it's as high and vertical as you can. Again, Intaride have got a remote antenna mounting kit too.

Autocom make a cable to connect it as well - and you know about their half price sale too..?

Btw, 4MWs and remote antennas are not allowed in the UK. There's been a recent thread on here about it, so it'll be well worth a search to put your mind at rest.

Linky for Intaride

Have fun,

Mike
