I am inherently a tight git with a gimpy back, so I figured one of those turntable things would mean I wouldn't have to do a backward shuffle out of the drive etc..... Until I priced them and thought "feck that"

A quick googleweb and I found a lazy susan with a 400kgs max (£8), a 500x500mm sheet of 3mm(£8) steel and a B&Q value carpet mat for £2.

20 minutes in the shed and I can now turn the bike with the ease. I was genuinely surprised I made a thing that worked.

Mark, can't you invent one that sits between the centre stand and bike frame so that it could be turned on the centre 360 wherever you are ?

I think I need one !!

I've the designs for the above! I designed it myself a year ago - not saying I've copied anyone or they've copied me but I don't care about that sort of thing anyhoo (life's too short) but it's a well known solution anyway so yes I could make something and haven't coz I'm too fekkin lazy :)
