Had one in 84 too...engine went pop on the motorway...got it rebuilt by my ex father in law, great old school mechanic...it used to wheelie like a demon...but the decompressor position and the kick start technique are crucial..as it will throw you into the air..I'm sure mine had a decompress lever by the clutch lever too...saying that I've had loads of bikes, a dump and a couple of beers since then...
Great memories...at least the tyres are a better quality now, so lanes will be doable...
