Haven't heard anyhing about this. I was over Glenshee on Sunday and saw no obvious signs of a recent RTA. Is there any particular reason that you want to know about this accident?

No real reason. A non motorcyclist friend was in the area, on a climbing trip, and mentioned it last night, thats all.
PS . .FAO HRH. Im not sure what your aim is with your comments. Im just a bit sad that one of "Us" passed away, (hopefully doing what he loved in life.)

HRH can answer for himself martin but I doubt if he meant anything by his comment. It's just that a year or two ago, there were a spate of "RIP Biker" threads on UKGSer and after some healthy debate, they kind of stopped.

There was a guy who came off at Glenshee a few days ago, taken to Dundee hospital by Air Ambo with injuries to legs but from what I've read on another forum he's doing well....not aware of any fatalities up there...hope not anway

The latest is that the lad who died was in an accident in Lanark. The Glen Shee fellow is is recovery mode.
RIP to the lad, (Lanark) and perhaps we should now end this thread !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I did read it, as for aim with comments it's just some twats on here just luv a juicey bit of gore, well not me pal.
If it was one of us no doubt it would be on the site and I couldn't think of anything worse than did you hear a biker got killed threads jumping up all over the place.
Local news websites are probably a better place to find out who has been killed and who has been hospitalised during a weekends biking
Good luck in your quest in whatever you want to find out.
I have lost a few friends and a first cousin on bikes
I use to despatch ride in London and as part of the course most despatch riders don't want to hear these things unless it directly affected them.

I think it's a shame when anyone dies on the roads up here, weekends can be a nightmare with the lowland lads using some of the roads as a racetrack.
But saying that we all enjoy our bikes!!!

With respect APB...what a load of bollocks.
Like I already explained to the original poster, there was a long threaded debate some time ago in the pub about the increase in "RIP Biker" posts on here and they kind of fizzled out thereafter. Tarka was quite involved so if you check his posts, you may find the info.
Anti English posts? Would that the the piss take ones? AFAR there are a vast number of English Tossers who attend various SS functions (the last one being last weekend). You should try and get yourself along to one someday (I see you've been member here since 2007) then you'd discover the kamaradie involved, instead of jumping to wrong conclusions from misinterpreted (on your part) internet posts.

I read the SS section alot and yep its funny. But you guys must admit that the abuse wether in fun or not directed at English could easily be interpreted the wrong way! I just didn't want Martin S to think he had been put down because he had made a comment that had brought up a past post.
PS I don't get much time off but if the invite still stands ?????I will do my best to meet up on one of your runs.
