Hello peeps,
Some friends of mine organise a biker do called the Tribal gathering, in a village called BURTON PIDSEA. Between Hull and Withernsea.
It’s a small friendly do with six bands on 3 Friday night and 3 Saturday, entrance is £10 of £15 if ya just turn up on the day.
They have a hog roast, fish and chips, bar etc.
Camping is on the field next to the event site and it’s all fenced in for the weekend so as safe as can be.
Toilets are in the village hall so no need to bring a bucket.
Its all in aid of charity and they do make everyone feel really welcome.
Also it’s in the East Yorkshire countryside with excellent roads as soon as you leave the village.
You can ride up the east coast to Brid on some excellent bits of tarmac via Hornsea, or take your camera and pop down to spurn point for a couple of hours. Get some cool shots of the bike in the sand dunes with the lighthouse as a back drop.
Anyway it’s a nice little village with a petrol station, mini supermarket for supplies, a post office and a pub called ‘the Nancy’. What more could you want.
I’ll be there making a tit of myself dancing like my dad about midnight on the Friday so come along to see that if nothing else.
I think I’m going to include a link but if I fail just type tribal gathering 2010 into Google and it will lead the way.
Hope to see some GSer’s there.
Ian.
