Black 1200 Adventure ??

Hi Folks

Does anyone know if a black Adventure was ever available in Europe ?? I vaguely remember seeing one in Amsterdam, but don't know if it had been painted.

Does anyone have any pics, cos I'm thinking of painting mine once it arrives.

I remember seeing a matt black GSA pictured in the 'I'm new here be gentle....' section a couple of years ago. Canadian or US guy and he'd painted the hubs blue. It was a stunning looking bike.

Just had a search for it but the section doesn't go back far enough now.

Black GSA

I have a black 08/09 GSA.....

Ordered a red 1, and got the 2 panels painted. then added a tinted screen.
Everyone thats seen it says it looks good (including SLM boss where I got it from)

That looks really nice. Panniers are looking good too. Are the panniers wet painted or powder coated ? and how does the paint stand up to knocks from boots when climbing on etc.??

The rails and fixings look very small and neat.

They are coated in vinyl which is guaranteed for 10 years. As for knocks etc, it's been for a lie down a few times (you know how it is ) and they still look brand new. Highly recommended mod and not expensive either.
