Anyone want to swap a red/black seat for a black one;):D

"What do you think ?"..................

The complex geometry of the aggressively styled exterior form requires colour breaks to prevent the appearance of an ill-defined mass. The internationally respected BMW styling team chose to use subtle contrasts of colour to achieve this and all-over black is an obvious and clichéd solution. The use of gloss paint on the aluminium vario pannier panels, forks and upper tank cowl/beak sits uneasily with the wholesale use of a matt finish. The white logos on the panniers are too harsh and will create a visual tension when the silver tank graphics are applied.

What do you think ?

Looks like a write off that has been rattle canned because the parts are too badly damaged to make them look as good as new. How to make a sows ear out of a silk purse in one easy lesson.
Sorry but you did ask

Hi Folks

Just had the varios, rear seat rack, and grab handle painted black. I've got some silver "1200" stickers from Humvee Graphics to go on the tank to finish it off. What do you think ?

Is this the new Streethawk? (for those who remember the classic 80's show)

Probably look better once you put the 1200 graphics on the tank to give it some contrast :thumb2

The only bit I would moan about is the silver rear pannier fixings on a black frame which seem to jump out at you. They would 'dissappear' if they were colour matched, cleaning up the visual impact of the back end of the bike.

Pish. Banish any sort of individuality on the basis some nobber will think it's an ex write-off. Get a life.

I think it looks superb Andy, great stuff :thumb

My opinions are formed from many years of involvement with modified bikes and cars where it is the norm for owners to use rattle can Black to finish off projects in a hurry rather than have a quality show paint job. This is what the bike reminds me of.
He asked for opinions and I gave mine, the fact you delivered your opinion whilst abusing mine doesn't make your views any more valid. Maybe opinions only matter aslong as they match yours? What a boring and unindividual World that would make.

black bike

would probably be nice if i wasnt colour blind,i can dream thou.:augie
