rode it a few weeks back staying at pension williams, sunny warm, didnt notice any closures, police, traffic lights (apart from the ones that have always been there at sand IIRC), mid week, its mostly a sort of wide open sweepers type of place so some rather fast stretches on that road, speed has be up there to make it interesting,if you are " must obey the speed limits type of rider" then take you car instead and enjoy the views... of course there are other roads that do require good focus that are made for bikes thru out the forest, but please dont talk about them as they will end up full of cars doing the speed limit

Probably an MOT fail nowadays so best to get it fixed before then.

Nah, it actually got there pretty quickly (and perfectly legally on the Autobahn) and touched 150 downhill - not bad for a 320ED

Black Forest hotel recomendation

I am planning a trip to the Black Forest in September and wondered whether anyone could recommend a hotel [4 bikers] in the central or southern area - Titisee , Freudenstadt areas.
