Blasphemy???…

I changed out the spoked wheels formGS cast wheels, and couldn’t decide if I wanted black or grey powder coating…….but then a quick brain storm and a bit of AI imagery later and we have red cast wheels on a GSA!

The wheels I got separately from e bay and weren’t too expensive at something under £300 each if I remember. Powder coating was done by Anthony at Kirdford powder coaters near Guildford for a not unreasonable price and it’s was a top job

What I had t accounted for was the bloody tyre pressure sensors. I simply thought I could swop them over , not realising that the bolts holding them on are completely different diameters……so,somewhere north of £100 each plus tyre removal and refitting etc has cost me dear!

But , I am berry happy with the overall result and makes the bike individual to me.

Just going to,change out the led co lights for some Denali D4s or D7s if I can find some second hand, then , as they say, I should be done!

Nice change there @RichieS and I had the same tyre pressure monitoring challenge. This was rectified during service, for a similar price

Eh it’s a no from me, but your bike your choice and whatever floats your boat Maybe if you did the crash bars red too, that would balance it out a bit

Many will question why not get an RT but if the GSA hits the spot for you and you only ride roads then why not, I think it looks good and if were honest that’s a fair part of what influences our purchase decisions.

Nah, painting the bars would spoil it and move it into tarts hand bag territory.
To me the colour choice on the wheels was well chosen, adds a bit of personalisation but gives a nod to the colour already present on the beaks R1250 decal.
