What size bleed nipple do I need to fit, to bleed the hydraulic clutch on my 2002 1150 GS.

Have treid a standard 8 mm And this is too small.

Thanks Tufty

Don't Need The Nipple?- Maybe?

Hi Tufty,
When I changed the fluid & bled the clutch I didn't have a nipple either, but managed fine by removing the plug from the remote bleed hose assembly completely. Behind this is a spring-loaded ball ( unfortunately working the wrong way to help with the bleeding!!) but with the help of an assistant the ball can be pushed in slightly with a small screwdriver or similar while holding the end of the hose above some sort of container and your assistant then pulls in clutch lever, then release ball before assistant releases lever and so on and so on  . In other words use the pushing and releasing of the ball in place of the opening and closing of the bleed nipple :thumb
I know there's probably a more "professional" way/tool, but for all the time you need to do this it's maybe not worth bothering about because the above method worked ok for me :clap

Yes there is - A bleed nipple .
Just screw it into the clutch bleed unit after removing the grub screw and bleed as normal.

Size as Mzokk stated

Do we assume that what is meant is an M10 X 1,0 PITCH?

motorworks etc. will sell you the right one. you might need one anyway to replace the special bmw valve on the front caliper if it's still fitted.
