Has anyone had trouble removing the plug in the remote clutch bleeding unit ? I tried to remove mine, to bleed the clutch during a service and socket of the plug rounded off, when the allen key didn`t grip. Said sod it till next service.

Drill it and remove with a screw extractor, you'll need a 10mm bleed nipple to bleed the system, i use a speedbleeder as its a spring loaded one, makes it a one handed job, easy.

Inside the receptor is a spring loaded release that allows the fluid out when the nipple is screwed in.

I believe the plugs in the brake calipers are loctited in place and require heat to release them. I'd guess they'd use the same method to secure the clutch plug.....

Mike:)

Thankth very muth for your advithe. I`ll get all the nethethery thingth ready (new bleed nipple, screw extracterth etc) for the next thervithe. ;)
