Good day to you all.
Reading various remarks about bleeding 1100 brake fluid that it realy needs to be done by a dealer.
Is this the general feeling off all you peolpe. The reason i ask is because i want to put sst (nipples) on the bike and give her some fresh dot 4.
Well its starting to look nice now most of my toys arrived from motorworks yesterday although some are missing as it looked as if parcel force had towed the box behind the van from yorkshire and then backed over it whilst reversing into my yard, cant fault the boys though they had totaly destroyed the box not just half a job well done parcel force!!!!!!!
So beware when ordering stuff ask for extra wrapping ie a steel crate.
All the very best Adam

Easy DIY job if you use one of the suck through the nipple gizmos and go VERY gently with squeezing the lever. Patience! :thumb

i just bled the brakes on my ABS 1150 as normal with a valved tube which stuck open while i was using it.

i carried on by manually opening & closing the nipples, so valve isn't really needed anyway.
