HI All, I need to replace my ABS pump as old pump has gone faulty. The fitting of the pump presents no problems. The help I need is regarding bleeding the circuits. I have figured out that the yellow bleed screw is the line from the front brake lever and this can be bled with no problem. What I need to know is can I bleed the other circuits without the need for specialist equipment and if so how?
Attached is a photo with the bleed screws colour coded for anyone who would like to take on the challenge of explaining it to me. You may ask, why not go to the dealer? Answer is 190 mile round trip. Thanks for now. Looking forward to all your suggestions:type

Have a look at some of the threads on ADVrider. Here is a guide for the 1150.

It's a doddle. The electric servo does the job for you , you just connect the hose to whatever bleed nipple your bleeding.

Just looked at the link and I can see that the pump looks similar to the one on my 2005 R1200GS

Steptoe, do you know are the bleed nipples the same as the ones in the ADVrider bleeding instructions.

Will I do any harm to one pump running it dry while bleeding the other circuit.
