Blisters on hand after riding??

Grip Puppies are your friend and a new pair of gloves are in order too.

Your heated grips will still be adequate through the Grip Puppies FYI.

Also I have extenders on my GSA hand guards that reduce the need to use the heated grips even more than my excellent Rukka gloves do already. I have hardly ever used them!

Friction burns. Adding heat will make them worse and burn layers of skin without feeling the extra heat. That's what they are. using lower grip heat settings and grip puppies will help. If you don't have risers, up and back risers may help as you won't be as forward and therefore less pressure on the hands. It's the same as what you get on your feet when walking in ill fitting shoes, but with more heat. You will grip the throttle slightly tighter than the left grip.

+1 for Grip Puppies. The heat gets diffused but is still there and you don't need to grip the er.. grip so tight.

I have thought, that the two grip heat settings on my 1250's were for ..... 2 is for heating up the grip when still cold, then switch to setting one for the ride as soon as you feel some heat ..... but that is just my take .... That whole grip heat thing is splendid in the cold. Having come off an airhead to a 1250. It seems I'm able to ride in colder weather as the grips seem to contribute to full body heat significantly ....
I also like a slender grip, from all the way back to motocross and dirt bikes. It seems to be much easier to maintain a solid but somehow relaxed hold on the bars ... I get cramps in my hands if the grips are too fat and or soft .....

The image of your palm doesn't look like heated grip burns to me.

Any chance the gloves are new...ish? This appears more like a reaction to something, maybe a chemical or metal. I've seen similar eczema type responses from chemicals used in the leather tanning process.

Did it start as a itchyness, that developed into blisters, or was you hand gloved throughout? I guess it's possible that the heated grips encouraged your palms to sweat, which could have exacerbated the eczma type response.

He did say he got wet during the ride so it could be a chemical burn or a steam burn,
