bloody hell! loadsa used gs's

hello all,

went in to my dealer today and i was totally shocked to see about 3 used gs' for sale!

how come? fastidious owners? faulty?

as i am still waiting for mine to arrive from berlin i am wondering why there are a few for sale? especially these are very new bikes! quite off putting if you know what i mean? why would anyone want to trade in there gs'?

however i am still going to stick with it. i am sure i am making the right decision in ordering the gs!


anyone any ideas?

Hi Matey,

many delers like to keep demonstrators for a short time and sell them with very low mileage, so that could account for one of them! As for the others who knows?

I'm well pleased with mine and wouldn't change it for any other current bike.

Hi Tiger and Reggie.
I had my bike serviced this week ,i was told that a few owners of 1200,have gone back to 1150s,or moved on to other BMs.
Its the same storey with all the Jap bikes,when a new model comes out and riders change ,you get some that dont like the new one as much.
I did it 4 years ago when i bought a new Fat Boy,I never jelled with it. it never felt as good as the old one It replaced, that does not mean that the new model,is not as good,its just what you get used to.Im sure you will love the new bike,just be carefull when you clean around the Tank badge,it looks like its held on with Blue Tack ,
