Absolutely mate. There are quite a few experience RT owners here and their knowledge has already proven valuable :thumb

In terms of aftermarket parts, I can recommend the very well-made Touratech engine bars. You can just see them on the pic...

Luckily, I managed to get a secondhand set in great condition for half price from someone on the forum. Better than paying £300 to Touratech...

Nice bit of kit Malc, is that 2011 model, midnight blue.

Mine is the same but i have a new givi e55 to go on mine ( when the rack turns up ) and i have the same sat nav mount for my 660. i have ordered a little set of the BMW black plastic protectors, cant affored the TT bars at the mo.

Also ordered a NN headlight protector that doesnt fit due to the indicator fairing, Beowulf end can that doesnt fit.

I have some risers coming from the US of A and a crud catcher.

I'm awaiting a Givi rack for my new RT too - Allan Jefferies say they're on back order, which is a bit of a pain as I have a Givi Trekker to deliver to its new owner :(

I've fitted RAM ball to one of the handle bar bolts for the time being, but have also picked up a used Wunderlich GPS mount for £40. I'd have preferred the BMW mount, but I understand that the height of the TT Rider may have interfered with the screen.

I've also managed to buy a virtually new BMW tankbag for £100, which is a great bit of kit, a pair of Kathy's bag liners for £35 and it came with BMW head protectors. The only things left to buy are a a fender extender and soem Ventureshield film to protect the paint on the pannier lids and tank.

The Ventureshield will protect the underlying paintwork but scuff marks on the panniers will show up and apparently won't wipe off

Cheers mate. Yes, midnight blue - all except the topbox which I bought secondhand and it's an earlier blue. Close enough though :thumb2

Givi topboxes are good bits of kit. I had an e46 on my GS and it served me very well indeed. It'll be interesting to see the other stuff when you've fitted it.

I actually really like that :thumb2

Not sure about the urine sample you've got mounted to the bars though :blast

Engine Bars look good. What's that thingy which looks like plastic extending rearwards from the Plug Cover ?.
