Blowing indicator bulbs

I've done a search and can't find anything so I hope I'm not asking a question that's been asked a million times before ... here goes ...

My 2003 1150 GSA has blown a couple of front indicator bulbs (one each side) within 25 miles of each other.

The bike was in a garage having some other work done so they checked the voltages etc and couldn't find a problem.

Are there any common problems I should be looking for?

taken any hard knocks lately?
vibration is the biggest killer of globes but indicators aren't on all the time so it they shouldn't blow without a bit of abuse. maybe its just coincidence that both went. i would start worrying after a 5 or 6 globes have blown.

Perhaps they were both originals and decided to call it a day together?

Mine 11/03 and 60K+ with no issues.

If theve both been in for the same length of time their life is about the same so don't worry.
