Gettin desperate, going away tomorrow for few days and neither iPhone or sat nav will pair up to my system 6. They both search for comms system but won't locate it.

Is the '6' iPhone compatible ?
I dunno what Apple use but I discovered (the hard way :blast) that Autocom have a different bluetooth dongle especially for the iPhone.
Apple, huh ? Ya gotta love 'em

Have you tried pairing any other bluetooth phone with the '6' ?

Unfortunately what Jockser say's about iPnone is correct, but I would need a little more info with regard to your GPS in order to try and help you.

What GPS unit are you using??

Are you using a Autocom unit for comms??

Are you using a helmet Bluetooth comms system??

Been messing about with it this morning.

The phone (iPhone 3GS) will find the helmet & Sat Nav ( Navigator lll plus). I can receive calls on phone & listen to music.

When trying to pair the nav to the helmet, it wont locate it, so I can't hear voice instructions. It will pair ok to the phone, as it shows all contacts from the phone memory.

Its the BMW Communication system fitted to the 6

Sorry Martin, I know feck all about the BMW comms.

Are you sure that it has the capability to connect two bluetooth units at the same time.

Try disabling the phones bluetooth, then try to connect the GPS to the helmet.

See how you get on trying that

Still no joy.......... I give up on it, fecking thing.

GPS according to instructions can pair to 2 units
