OK, I give up! I have a Sena SMH10R bluetooth kit for Sat Nav which comes with a charger lead made up of a car lighter fitting at one end and a micro USB on the other, BUT, what do I need to charge the battery up at the end of a ride at say a hotel?
I guess I would need a 240V adapter/charger to give what V & A, (5V? 1A?) with a lead which has a micro USB for connection to the Sena. Any idea where I can get such a thing if that's what I need?
Thanks

Thanks. My phone charger has a similar end fitting but the pins are different and is not actually marked with the USB symbol so didn't dare switch it on.

Had a reply from the SMH10R supplier, Motorcycle Tourer Co, confirming that you can use a micro USB mains power adapter capable of at least 5.2V/500ma output such as Blackberry/Apple/HTC etc. which is as you suggested John. Thanks.

I don't think anyone would use the mini-USB or normal USB plugs / sockets unless it conforms to the normal standards, as you can bet there'd be thousands of claims if they switched pins etc from the standard.

Unlike Apple who seem to do it with every iteration of ipod / iphone / ipad etc etc
