I have installed a pro duo with a bluetooth dongle in aux 1 for power but cannot get it to connect to any device ie mobile, tomtom rider1 it can see the divices but fails to pair does anyone have any tips or hints.

If I remember correctly, you have to pull out one of the end-caps and push a button to get to to pair. If you don't, you get the symptoms that you're having.

If you're really desperate, I'll get off my backside and pair my new phone to the dongle, like I've been meaning to do for the last 2 weeks :augie

:agree To pair your phone, gps ect you must press the button positioned in the adaptor for around 6 secounds until the light goes out. you must then press the button in for a second time for 6 seconds until the light flashes rapidly.you should now be able to pair, Good luck

I had probs with this until I realised that pressing the button gets the light to flash (ok I thought: light flashing, but I couldn't get it to pair), but keeping it pressed until the light flashes rapidly is what is required.

I keep all my kit in a tank bag. Disconnect 3 wires and take bag with me when I park the bike. (Small magnetic easy to carry bag).
