Sat waiting for one of those Autocom bluetooth dongly things :bounce1 Thinking of using velcro to place it with the autocom unit under the seat. It's a bit near the wedding tackle but hoping a radiation vasectomy will save me some money so I can spend more on the bike :thumb2

I tried it under the seat and it worked fine, until I put the seat back on!
The seat is too much of an obstacle.
I ended up sticking it under the cowling at the front of the fuel tank using Velcro which is about 8 inches from my Zumo.

Ditto, the BT dongle doesn't connect anywhere near as easy as my phone and getting it as close as possible to the Zumo improves things no end. I still have to manually attach the BT dongle way after the phone has autoconnected. This signals to me a lower than average sensitivity of the BT receiver of transmitter within the dongle.

Maybe Autocom needs to change its supplier?

I used a £15 Motorola one off ebay - works fine, does same job, and much cheaper.

I have it tucked under the back seat, and it seems to connect OK so far.

Does need a bit of messing to get it bike powered though...
