Pretty impressed that cornering ABS is fitted to so many without extra cost. The brake light thing too.
I agree with others the colours are disappointing. Though I suspect the red GSA will look better in the showroom than the computer screen.
Here is a pic of the R1200GSA in Red

Have you noticed the heel guards are now plastic (not alloy) they are on the later 2015 models too

Mine are plastic. Does it matter?![]()
Given the exchange rates shouldn't they be going the other way, robbing gits.
Is it worth doing a parallel import ?
Probably not got a german brochure here and the base model ie no led headlight, pannier rails, led indicators, etc comes in at €19,550.
Comfort package ie heated grips , chrome exhaust and rdc add €530 to prices
Touring package ie esa, computer, wired for sat nav, led spots and pannier rails comes in at an extra €2095.
Dynamic package with dynamic pro, led headlight, led indicators are €1230
Add panniers at €720 a pair and a top box at €365 and coded locks at €95 then a fully loaded te with luggage comes in at around €24,585 at todays price, even with the current exchange rate it appears more expensive than the uk
Not sure how it stand now but about 12 years ago looked at buying a new 1150gsa in austria and they wouldn't even give me a price unless I could prove residency and had a permanent address.
Now illegal to do so and bmw warranty is european wide but now much support will you get from bmw uk (who have made no money on the deal) and a uk dealer when things go wrong.
I reckon you will be at the back of the queue for assistance especially for say corrosion issues.
Plus your more expensive new bike will need the clocks and headlight changed , lots of money even from e bay in Lithuania
