they have a huge post on ADV...about the trip, the deal with Triumph etc. I think they tried to buy the bikes off Triumph, but things went sour or something (whether due to the adverse publicity or not I don't know) so, last I read, they both bought GS800's.......

Here ...also their Canadian ride Vancouver to Alaska ( Prudhoe bay ) ...fabulous scenery and photos of their Triumph ride;
They certainly know a lot more about cold weather riding than some guys on this site !
