BMW Akku-Regulator BV11340

Advice saught.

Hi. I have been given one of the above,and have been told that it is a battery charger that is compatable to long term connection on a GS1200 adventure.
The charger connects directly to the accessory socket.
There are no instructions included and I am reluctant to connect it until I know of its suitability.
Can anyone offer me any advice re this?

YES THE Akku-Regulator BV11340 is suitable.

Thanks for your reply. It is not this charger.
The charger is square in shape and blue in colour.It has two LED's,one red and one blue.
