my bmw badge fell off after first outing in the rain others have said they have had the same problem is this a common thing with the g650gs ?

dob a blob of clear silicone stuff on the back. not too much tape it in position until it cures - sorted.

yeah me too. Some bright bastard nicked the roundel off my pile of shit K1300 GT SE, which by the way I did try to take back as it vibrated like a dumper truck, and i mean the bike vibrated not the badge!!!! A new badge/roundel was 15 quid. Thinking back on it I would have been better off with a can of petrol, some matches and a bloody good alibi..... and I would still have had change.........

Mine fell off but luckily it was in the dealers workshop when it happened and the technician said " never touched it, it just fell off" which was quite handy.
