As both have gore-tex liners it is relavent

And, as I actually own the Savanna jacket I think I might have a reasonable idea on how "waterproof" the jacket is without a liner.

I've got a full Aramacor suit and it really is the way to go. The rain sheds from the outside, the jacket is breathable and cool and doesn't weigh an extra 10kg when wet!! Thermal liner on the inside in the winter.

BMW liners, what a complete rip off !!! For that kind of money, and less, you can get a top of the range Gore Tex XCR mountaineering jacket.
Why do people bother with BMW ones ?????????????

BMW clothing and sizes

Hi all, dont take this the wrong way, but are all BMW riders real fatties or what. The reason i ask is that when ever i have looked around for second hand BMW clothing, i cannot find any that are anything less than 40" waist or XXXL. I have never seen any for people with say, 32 " waist or just XL or even L, god forbid if i ever found any trousers with less than a 36" leg!!

You can't all be lard arses ?

How much do BMW rip you off for the Gore tex liner then ?

Thanks to eBay, I got the jacket liner for £75 and the trousers from an eBay shop in Germany for £105. Normall RRP is about £225 for the pair (ouch).
