BMW Com-U1 and a Sena RC4

I'm looking into buying a BMW (Sena) COM-U1 unit for my new BMW GS Pure helmet.

A couple of questions.

1. Does the Sena RC4 connect to the COM-U! and can it controle the unit ias it does with my Sena/Schuberth SC10U ?
2. I don't have a TFT screen, I do have a NAV VI, will the COM-U1 work just the same as my SC10U with my NAV VI? I can't imagine I would need the BMW connect app, or indeed that it would work with my bike.

The Sena 50R is the same unit but better. The firmware is more up to date. For some reason it's different. The Sena unit does exactly what you want it to do. I have both, I would take the Sena any day. I don't know if its me or if the firmware makes the difference but the sound is better and the mesh comms work better. The Sena I have is the V1, Not Harman Kardon. The V2 would be even better, for sound at least.
