in june 08 i ordered a 1200gsa along with my brother, same specs, premium and dynamic packs, my bike arrived the last week in july tony's arrived a few weeks later when his arrived it had the new led indicators on where mine had the standard one's and it makes my bike look like last years model, the bikes were ordered from different dealers, ive tried to contact BMW but i get know answer with emails but it,s possible ive not got the correct email address which is the best way to contact BMW? and do you think i will get anywhere! thanks.

Buy some BM LED indicators if it makes you feel better.

LED indicators were in October this year, a cost extra. You didn't ask for them, your brother did? Or he was lucky and got them. Thought about asking if he'll swap?

You need to go back to your dealer and have a whinge at him I would suggest.

Don`t get me wrong but is having different indicators such a serious problem??? FFS, you`ve got one of the best bikes available and you are worried about indicators I`m in the wrong job

I guess that there has to be some point for the transition with the introduction of updated products

I guess it comes down to what was specified when you ordered it...if you have 'normal' lenses listed I would think the BMW dealer/BMW doesn't really have any obligation to change them.

I would have a friendly word with your dealer, state your grievance and the circumstances….and they may well change them under good will….worth a try.

I personally prefer the ‘old’ type with white lenses….but that’s only my opinion.

only concern is that you're asking BUMW to do something 7 months after you bought the bike (if I read your post correctly), in these cash strapped times where the accountants are concentrating on the bottom line, you may not be lucky.....I can speak from experience.....

The LED indicators and back light is the only difference dont worry the leds actually look a bit more fragile on my 08 in red!!Enjoy it!!

When I bought mine in october they were free another guy was picking his up and it had the "old fashion" Lights it was pure luck/chance that mine was the 09 model and he was lumbered with the old 08 model

on a side note, has anyone ever bumped into the identical twins in Reading? I ran into then once, two guys, mid 30s ish identical twins, identical 12GSAs, identical twat suits, identical bike setups - bit scarey to be honest
