Smart man - gadgets makes the universe revolve
Dutchman said:Exactly how does it fit on.....?
You simply attach it next to your current powerband, that way the total powerband will be much wider.
Dutchman said:What size is it....?
This is an XW version (Xtra Wide)
Dutchman said:What colours does it come in...........?
The colour is black and dull, however should you rev it past the recommended RPM into the dangerous zone, it'll actually turn reddish from the slight stretching. This is designed behaviour. Nothing to worry about. It basically prevents it from being installed on, say a high-revving Yamaha R6.
Dutchman said:Quantify power improvement.........?
That's hard to say. These powerbands are still quite a new product and they seem to have a bit of a fluctuating effect. It also depends on what sort of powerband your bike has got at the moment. I'd hazard a guess that it'll increase the width of your current powerband with about eleventeen.
Dutchman said:Does it affect the notorious BMW warranty........?
BMW have been cagy about this and haven't given a clear answer. The most they could say was; If it doesn't start, ring the assistance and take a gracious forward bending stance. Whatever that means.
Dutchman said:Can it be used on wet roads..........?
Yes, the wider powerband will actually help the controllability of the engine and thus increasing the usable traction you get. However, eager wrists will spin up the rear pretty much at will. As always, ride responsibly!

I hope that answers some of the questions. These are very easy to install and will make your engine feel much more usable.
