BMW Dealer POI's?

I have got a BMW Nav III and have loaded updated maps from Garmin for it. However I have then lost the current European BMW Dealers which were loaded as POI's. Does any-one know how to get them back?

Also Any-one got experiance for buying American maps as I have been told they are cheaper to buy and upload when you are in the US? I am not sure how this can be right?

Thanks - This only shows updates for Nav I and II? Persumably this is the latest available and will be OK for Nav III ?

Well tried this and... Nope doesn't seem to load onto my Nav III. Prior to the Garmin update all the BMW bikes dealers appeared with pretty little BMW logo's. But not now..


Any one else got any ideas?

Isnt it in that massive thread of POIs on this site, i have them, thats where i thought i got them from. If it isnt i can upload it to some wepspace so folks can dl it.

I did have a big trawl before posting the thread but couldn't see anything? If you have them and could post them up that would be great?

You would have thought that BMW (who after all are ideally placed with all the information at their fingertips) would consider it a service to all their customers to provide easily accessible .gpx files listing all dealers in Europe, all dealers in Africa, etc.

Tying the download so that it only works on (some) BMW-badged GPS units is restrictive and shortsighted.

You would have thought that BMW (who after all are ideally placed with all the information at their fingertips) would consider it a service to all their customers to provide easily accessible .gpx files listing all dealers in Europe, all dealers in Africa, etc.

Same could be said for Honda who until recently had the lat long for all European dealerships listed on their European website against the listing for each dealer yet didn't offer a downloadable POI file. I produced sets for the UK and, with the help of someone else, a set for France. It now appears that the lat long has been removed from the listings.
