I have a virtually new BMW round diagnostic connector to standard OBD11 cable. This allows for the connection of a diagnostics adapter to work with a suitable app such as MotoScan to carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, code changes to various settings on the bike, etc.
I also have the UniCarScan Bluetooth Adapter USCI-2000 which was the recommended adaptor for use with the MotoScan app.
I used this setup to code in a secondhand TPMS/Alarm unit, code new TPMS sensors, enable the dash to show the tyre pressures etc. Also used to convert metric displays to imperial on my imported F650GS. It enables many other functions through the MotoScan app.
This setup can be used on most BMW bikes but please make your own checks first.
Please note that the MotoScan app is not included.
