First registered 13/4/16 showing 23085 miles. I’ve had it 3 years and am the 3rd owner and have done 6k miles. The previous owner bought it to replace a 1200gs that he’d had a really bad accident on but barely used it hence the low mileage and gaps without a mot. It’s due in sept but I will mot it before it’s sold.
It has a partial service history, I changed the oil and filter when I bought it and again the year after. I had it fully serviced by a local independent - John Nicholson in October at 20511 miles. It was a major service and everything was done, all fluids, brake, coolant & oil were changed, all filters were replaced including the fuel filter, the valve check was done and the bike was thoroughly checked front to rear. My instructions to John were to do what you would do if it was yours which he did and he’s a very meticulous guy.
It’s a great bike in really good condition and does everything really well, it’s light and manageable, pretty quick and economical, it’s also a very good lightweight tourer with the full vario panniers and top box all using the ignition key. I did a tour in France this year with two friends on Royal enfields and it was doing 78 mpg according to the computer. The tyres have 3mm front and rear but are slightly squared off.
The luggage has usage marks but is still presentable.
Being the rallye version the bike comes with the following as standard.
Centre stand
TPS
ESA
On board computer
Heated grips
Hand guards
I’ve added oem extensions to the hand guards which makes them much more effective and also an oem alloy sump guard.
PS please see last pic showing a tiny bit of paint/laquer which has come off the edge of the left side tank panel. I’m a perfectionist and it doesn’t bother me you barely notice it but just pointing it out.
I’m asking £4600 for it, if you’ve any questions please ask away. I live in the north east - sunny Sunderland.
