BMW factory fitted alarm query

If I leave my alarm on, with red led flashing, after 3-4 days, the led no longer flashes.

I thought that maybe bike thinks that battery is being drained of power and has cut the alarm off.

However when bike is moved, the alarm goes off

On my bike, the alarm can still be active whilst not flashing its led.

Does anyone else's do this ?

Yup, I think mine has done that. I suspect you're partially right, it's gone into some kind of power saving mode. But the alarm is still armed.

I have a Meta alarm on my bike and after a cetain time the alarm goes into "hibernation" mode.This is a power saving facility.
