BMW Fatal Flaw?

Did a couple of searches of the forum and didn't find any mention of this.....

The older bikes don't seem to be affected. Who knows why the design changed. Probably to save weight. Oh Yes!

Here is how it will work;

Bmw uk; no sir no problems, all internet hype and rubbish. Yours is a different spec. Of course we can check that'll be a gazillion pounds. Kerching

Wrong.
Look you need to remember the GS LC press release from 2013. The smaller fork legs were fitted in an attempt the keep the large steering lock.
