Wasn't sure where to put this so Mods/Admins feel free to move ;-)

Did a couple of searches of the forum and didn't find any mention of this.....

"The 2016 BMW R 1200 GSA Adventure bike has a FATAL flaw! BMW has swept this issue under the rug for too long now...."
...other models/years affected?
"BMW GS 1200 Stanchion Separation Issue..... there is a problem with stanchion separation on the 1200 GS motorcycle range..."

The older bikes don't seem to be affected. Who knows why the design changed. Probably to save weight. Oh Yes!

How would I fair if I took the bike back to BMW and demanded a refund,Knowing that they have sold me a bike with a known potentially dangerous fault, haven't warned me or made any arrangements to rectify the fault.?
